In the first episode of The Path, Veronica Dale attends a very strange meeting where she meets two people named Brenner and Manera. Intrigued by (obsessed with?) what happened at that meeting, Veronica recruits her best friend Lucy, and the two of them start looking into the possibility that something insidious may have happened to Veronica’s ex-boyfriend, Noah.
